Eikendal, Stellenbosch, ist seit 1981 in Schweizer Besitz. Letztes Jahr war der Wine Maker im Obertor zu Besuch und brachte einige „Weingsch\u00e4nkli“ mit.<\/p>\n

Degustierte Weine:<\/p>\n

– Chardonnay Janina 2011, Eikendal: Leicht schwefelig, Zitrusaromatik; am Gaumen etwas schmalbr\u00fcstig, d\u00fcrfte mehr S\u00e4ure haben.<\/p>\n

– Cabernet \/ Merlot 2008, Eikendal: Leichte Rauchnoten, Speck, gr\u00fcn; wirkt marmeladig, Karamell, leichte Sch\u00e4rfe am Gaumen. Haut niemanden um.<\/p>\n

– Eikendal Pinotage 2010, Eikendal: Eukalyptus, Zitronenschale, Banane, rote Beeren, Rauchnote, dunkle Schokolade; am Gaumen recht adstringierend, mittlerer K\u00f6rper.<\/p>\n

– Charisma 2012, Eikendal: recht viele Fruchtnoten, „warme“ Nase; am Gaumen dropsig, Kohlens\u00e4ure, nicht wirklich charismatisch.<\/p>\n

– Classique 2008, Eikendal: Schwarze Fr\u00fcchte, etwas Eukalyptus, rauchig, wirklich nobel; am Gaumen breit, hat Druck, sehr guter Wein.<\/p>\n

Ausserdem noch probiert: Pinotage 2009 Diemersfontein (wie immer, Kaffee, Kaffee, Kaffee); The very sexy Shiraz 2008, Cloof (unsexy).<\/p>\n
